BJA/RCoA Basic Science Research Fellowship 2014

Up to £250,000 available
Closing date: 5pm, Monday 16th December 2013

The British Journal of Anaesthesia and the Royal College of Anaesthetists will be awarding a new grant in the spring of 2014. This award is part of the national strategy which seeks to support the development of sustained, high quality research within anaesthesia, critical care and pain.

This grant will be up to £250,000 over 4 years (reviewed after two years). It is intended as a stable funding platform for an individual basic sciences researcher who is looking towards major Research Council, NIHR or charity funding in the foreseeable future, and who has not yet achieved Professorial status.

Applications will be considered from all non-professorial grades of staff including clinicians and non-clinicians. Applicants should be UK based; membership of the Royal College of Anaesthetists is not required.
